|
Practice Round |
Teams may avail of one complimentary practice round on the day prior to their participation in the AIG Inter-Club National Finals.
Each team has been allocated two practice times to cover 8 players. Practice times listed in the detailed schedule below must be adhered to and are only available for members of the team concerned. Club and Team Officials are not permitted to play. Players may only play one ball during practice. GI Officials will be monitoring the pace of play of all practicing groups.
If your team is not using some or all of its time during the official practice round, please email championships@golfireland.ie to confirm this. Additional practice rounds on other dates are subject to availability at Tandragee Golf Club and a green fee rate of £20 will apply.

Practice Facilities |
Practice facilities at Tandragee: There is a practice area between the 13th and 15th holes and a short game area right of the third fairway. Own balls are required at both areas. Practice putting greens at the clubhouse and next to the first tee. Driving net next to the main putting green.
Banbridge Golf Range is located 7 miles from Tandragee Golf Club. The address is 24 Ballykeel Rd, Banbridge BT32 3UE

Team Sheets |
For administration purposes it is requested that team sheets be submitted by 6pm on the day before matches. This can be done in person to the Golf Ireland Tournament Office or by email to championships@golfireland.ie You are required to submit your team sheet for all matches no later than 45 minutes before play in that match is due to commence – the order of play will be published following this deadline and cannot be amended thereafter save for exceptional circumstances as set out in the General Regulations.

Car Parking
|
Car parking passes will be issued in advance by email to the 16 competing teams with 5 passes per club for Friday 5th September. These passes will be numbered and should not be copied. The passes will be needed to gain entry to the main car park at Tandragee GC. The victorious teams will be given passes for Saturday 6th after their quarter final.
Overflow parking is available at the church next to the club entrance and a nearby field will be used if required and if weather conditions permit.

Local Rules |
Golf Ireland’s Hard Card Local Rules are in operation Golf Ireland Hard Card
The local rules on the club scorecard will not apply. Any additional local rules will be advised to teams by the starter.

|
Referees |
Referees will be situated throughout the course to give rulings when required. These referees will also be monitoring the pace of play. Should players fall out of position, they will be timed and may be penalised for bad times. Please advise players of the need to play at a steady pace.

|
Catering
|
It is essential that teams communicate any catering requirements they have in advance by contacting the host club. All catering costs must be paid each day by teams.

Photographs
|
An official photographer will take a team photo of the overall competition winners.
|
||
|
Medals |
Golf Ireland awards silver gilt medals to the winners of the Cups and Shields competitions, silver medals to the runners-up and bronze medals to the defeated semi-finalists.
A special medal is awarded to the Team Captain. Two extra medals will be made available, free of charge, to a Club playing a four-to-six person team event and four extra medals or shields will be made available, free of charge, to a Club playing in a eight-person team event, provided such extra medals or shields are required for players in attendance.

Terms of Competition (Regulations) |
It is essential that you familiarise yourself with the Terms of Competition, which can be found within the team sheets.

As per the GI Hard Card, a Team Captain may consult with and give advice to the members of his team during the course of play but may not walk onto the putting green or point out a line for putting. Please note that only one individual may be appointed for such purposes.

Transportation Policy (Buggies) |
Click here for Golf Ireland’s Transportation Policy. Please note that this Policy intends to facilitate players only with physical disabilities in allowing such individuals to use Golf Buggies. However, the use of a Golf Buggy will be subject to any health & safety restrictions laid down, and is not guaranteed in the event of course conditions not allowing such use, availability of buggy etc. Any competitor intending to use a Golf Buggy in accordance with the Transportation Policy MUST contact us in advance at championships@golfireland.ie and IS REQUIRED to submit the appropriate certification in advance of their arrival at the venue. Submission of certification in person on the day of competition WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO BE ALLOWED TO USE A BUGGY. Buggies will not be available for Team Captains / Managers.
